A iniciativa segue at\u00e9 o dia 15 de janeiro e busca promover a seguran\u00e7a vi\u00e1ria, al\u00e9m de prevenir sinistros e infra\u00e7\u00f5es relacionados ao uso irregular de caminh\u00f5es e \u00f4nibus.<\/p>\n<p>A opera\u00e7\u00e3o busca tamb\u00e9m conscientizar os motoristas e empresas de transporte sobre a import\u00e2ncia da manuten\u00e7\u00e3o preventiva dos ve\u00edculos e do cumprimento dos tempos de descanso obrigat\u00f3rios, visando a sustentabilidade do setor e a prote\u00e7\u00e3o da vida nas estradas. De janeiro a novembro de 2024, foram registrados 616 sinistros envolvendo ve\u00edculos de carga nas rodovias federais de Pernambuco, que deixaram 161 pessoas feridas e dez mortas. No mesmo per\u00edodo do ano anterior, foram atendidos 606 sinistros, com 174 feridos e seis mortes.<\/p>\n<p>De acordo com a Lei do Descanso, o motorista n\u00e3o pode dirigir por mais de 5 horas e meia seguidas, ele precisa descansar por no m\u00ednimo 30 minutos. E a cada jornada de 24h, o condutor deve descansar por 11 horas. A fiscaliza\u00e7\u00e3o do cumprimento dessa jornada ocorre pela an\u00e1lise do tac\u00f3grafo, um equipamento que registra o tempo de dire\u00e7\u00e3o, a dist\u00e2ncia percorrida e a velocidade m\u00e9dia do ve\u00edculo. Em 2024, foram emitidas 1.185 autua\u00e7\u00f5es pelo desrespeito a essa norma.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m desse foco, a opera\u00e7\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m ir\u00e1 verificar outros itens de seguran\u00e7a nos ve\u00edculos de grande porte, como o funcionamento do sistema de freios, a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o adequada dos pneus, a conserva\u00e7\u00e3o e sinaliza\u00e7\u00e3o da carroceria.
