A sess\u00e3o, conduzida pelo presidente do Tribunal, desembargador C\u00e2ndido Saraiva, foi prestigiada por diversas autoridades, advogados, professores universit\u00e1rios, representantes da sociedade civil. O bi\u00eanio de Amorim no TRE-PE vai at\u00e9 janeiro de 2027, podendo ser reconduzido para mais um mandato.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=RBdRN1QkdvQ\">Assista aqui a sess\u00e3o solene.<\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Al\u00e9m de toda a Corte, estiveram presentes \u00e0 cerim\u00f4nia o presidente do Tribunal de Justi\u00e7a de Pernambuco, desembargador Ricardo Paes Barreto; a vice-governador Priscila Krause; o prefeito do Recife, Jo\u00e3o Campos; o procurador de Justi\u00e7a Renato da Silva Filho, representando o Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico de Pernambuco (MPPE); a presidente da OAB-PE, Ingrid Zanella; representantes da Assembleia Legislativa, Prefeituras e C\u00e2maras de Vereadores.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Em pronunciamento, o presidente C\u00e2ndido Saraiva ressaltou a experi\u00eancia do mais novo membro do Tribunal e da contribui\u00e7\u00e3o que ele trar\u00e1 para os desafios da Justi\u00e7a Eleitoral. \u201cA Justi\u00e7a Eleitoral de Pernambuco tem um hist\u00f3rico de excel\u00eancia, fruto do trabalho conjunto de magistrados, servidores e colaboradores dedicados. Com a chegada do desembargador Washington Amorim, fortalecemos ainda mais nosso compromisso de garantir elei\u00e7\u00f5es limpas, seguras e transparentes, assegurando que o exerc\u00edcio do voto continue sendo um pilar inabal\u00e1vel da nossa democracia\u201d, disse.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Em discurso pontuado pela emo\u00e7\u00e3o, Washington Amorim resgatou sua trajet\u00f3ria profissional e seu v\u00ednculo com Vit\u00f3ria de Santo Ant\u00e3o (Zona a Mata), sua cidade natal. Ressaltou o apoio da fam\u00edlia e se emocionou ao citar o pai, a m\u00e3e e av\u00f3, Margarida. Ele fez quest\u00e3o de citar nominalmente e agradecer \u00e0s magistradas e magistrados com quem conviveu quando exerceu os dois mandatos como desembargador eleitoral substituto.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Washington Lu\u00eds Mac\u00eado de Amorim completou 55 anos no mesmo dia da sua posse solene. Ele atuou no TRE-PE como desembargador substituto em dois bi\u00eanios: de dezembro de 2018 a dezembro de 2020, e de abril de 2021 a abril de 2023. Tamb\u00e9m exerceu os cargos de ouvidor e ouvidor substituto. Ele \u00e9 procurador concursado do munic\u00edpio de Vit\u00f3ria de Santo Ant\u00e3o desde 2008 e j\u00e1 exerceu o cargo de procurador-geral de Jaboat\u00e3o dos Guararapes, entre 2007 e 2008, al\u00e9m de prestar consultorias a diversas institui\u00e7\u00f5es p\u00fablicas.
