O per\u00edodo \u00e9 comemorado nacionalmente de 21 a 28 de agosto para promover a\u00e7\u00f5es de inclus\u00e3o social e combater preconceito e discrimina\u00e7\u00e3o contra esse p\u00fablico. O evento ocorreu no Parque Bela Vista e reuniu pessoas com e sem defici\u00eancia em pr\u00e1ticas esportivas adaptadas e inclusivas.<\/p>\n<p>Iniciativa da Secretaria de Esportes e Lazer, com apoio de secretarias municipais como Sa\u00fade e Bem-Estar, Cultura, Turismo e Economia Criativa, Assist\u00eancia Social, Juventude e Cidadania, Educa\u00e7\u00e3o e da Mulher, o festival destacou o compromisso da gest\u00e3o com a inclus\u00e3o e a cidadania. O festival esportivo ofereceu modalidades como v\u00f4lei sentado, bocha adaptada, jud\u00f4, golbol e basquete em cadeira de rodas.<\/p>\n<p>A programa\u00e7\u00e3o foi estabelecida pela Lei n\u00ba 13.585\/2017, que institui o per\u00edodo como oportunidade para enaltecer a inclus\u00e3o e os direitos do p\u00fablico-alvo.
