O momento contou com o hasteamento das bandeiras e com a apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o da Banda Marcial 03 de Agosto.<\/p>\n<p>O evento reuniu autoridades locais, entre elas o prefeito em exerc\u00edcio, professor Edmo Neves, que destacou a import\u00e2ncia da celebra\u00e7\u00e3o. \u201cA Semana da Independ\u00eancia \u00e9 um momento de reflex\u00e3o e de uni\u00e3o. Celebramos os 203 anos da nossa emancipa\u00e7\u00e3o reafirmando o compromisso com a nossa cidade e com o futuro do Brasil. \u00c9 fundamental envolver nossas escolas e a juventude neste processo, pois s\u00e3o eles que dar\u00e3o continuidade \u00e0 constru\u00e7\u00e3o de um pa\u00eds mais justo e democr\u00e1tico\u201d, ressaltou.<\/p>\n<p>Tamb\u00e9m estiveram presentes o presidente da C\u00e2mara de Vereadores, Edmilson de V\u00e1rzea Grande, al\u00e9m da vereadora Ana Paula da Facol, o vereador Novo da Banca, secret\u00e1rios municipais e popula\u00e7\u00e3o.
