Nos dois momentos, o reitor Alfredo Gomes e o vice-reitor Moacyr Ara\u00fajo receberam os novos estudantes dos centros, dando boas-vindas e destacando a excel\u00eancia do ensino que \u00e9 oferecido pela UFPE, uma das dez melhores universidades p\u00fablicas do pa\u00eds. Logo no in\u00edcio das solenidades, houve apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o musical com alunos do curso de M\u00fasica da UFPE: a soprano Vanessa Melo e os m\u00fasicos Rute Freitas e Victor Castanheira (este apenas no CAA).<\/p>\n<p>VIT\u00d3RIA &#8211; J\u00e1 no CAV, a solenidade foi realizada no hall do centro, reunindo calouros, t\u00e9cnicos administrativos e docentes. O reitor Alfredo Gomes e o vice-reitor Moacyr Ara\u00fajo destacaram, em seus discursos, os investimentos que est\u00e3o sendo feitos no CAV com recursos do Programa de Acelera\u00e7\u00e3o do Crescimento (PAC), que praticamente v\u00e3o duplicar a \u00e1rea f\u00edsica do centro e tamb\u00e9m incluem a constru\u00e7\u00e3o do Restaurante Universit\u00e1rio.<\/p>\n<p>Participaram do evento a pr\u00f3-reitora de Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o, Magna Silva; a pr\u00f3-reitora para Assuntos Estudantis, Cinthia Alves; a pr\u00f3-reitora de P\u00f3s-Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o, Carol Leandro; a pr\u00f3-reitora de Cultura, Mariana Brayner; o chefe de gabinete, Fernando Nascimento; o diretor do CAV, Jos\u00e9 Ant\u00f4nio dos Santos; a vice-diretora Michele Galindo; a representante da UNE e o representante da Adufepe, al\u00e9m de superintendentes e diretores.
